Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL) is a national research, development and marketing organisation that works in partnership with the horticulture sector to invest in programs that provide benefit to Australian horticulture industries. HAL invests almost $80 million annually in projects in partnership with the horticulture sector and runs more than 1200 research, development and marketing projects throughout the year.

Plant & Food Research provides research and development that adds value to fruit, vegetable, crop and food products, with 900 staff based at sites across New Zealand as well as in Europe, the USA and Australia.

AusVeg
AusVeg is the national peak industry body that represents the interests of Australian vegetable and potato growers and is committed to securing the industry's future.
AusVeg represents the interests of growers to government and assist growers by making sure the National Vegetable Levy and National Potato Levy are invested in research and development (R&D) that best meets the needs of the industry.
Horticulture New Zealand
Horticulture New Zealand (HortNZ) is an industry association representing New Zealand’s 7000 commercial fruit, vegetable, berryfruit and olive growers. HortNZ is funded by growers via a levy on sales, is governed by a board of eight, all of whom are growers and operates with a staff of 20 based in New Zealand’s capital, Wellington.
HortNZ monitors changes in Government policy on behalf of our members, promotes the development of the horticulture industry, makes submissions to central and regional government, gives policy advice and aims to influence change for the benefit of growers.
There are 22 ‘product groups’ affiliated to HortNZ. Investment in Vital Vegetables comes from R&D levy collected by Fresh Vegetable Product Group, Fresh Tomato Product Group, Process Vegetable Product Group and Potatoes New Zealand.
