Vital Vegetables® has been developed in a partnership between Australian and New Zealand scientists at the Department of Primary Industry Victoria and the New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Limited, with significant support from Horticulture Australia Limited, leading seed companies and the Vital Vegetable Marketing Partnership (VVMP).
VVMP, responsible for delivering Vital Vegetables® from farm to table, is a co-operation formed by some of Australia's leading fresh produce growers (including: Fresh Select, CostaExchange, Perfection Fresh, Salad Fresh, Houston Farm and Simplot).
Each has had an integral role in shaping the unique vision and ethos of the Vital Vegetables® range, and will continue to work collaboratively to research and develop further products.
