Vital Vegetables® are developed in a partnership between Australian and New Zealand scientists at the Department of Primary Industry Victoria and the New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Limited, with significant support from Horticulture Australia Limited, leading seed companies and the Vital Vegetable Marketing Partnership (VVMP).

This scientific development is core to the Vital Vegetables® ethos. Each and every addition to the range will have undergone rigorous scientific testing to ensure it:

  • Contains the highest possible amount of antioxidants and other phytonutrients
  • Remains 100% natural
  • Can be incorporated most effectively into a balanced diet at manageable levels
  • Meets Australian and New Zealand food standards
  • Offers the same quality Australians have come to expect from fresh, Australian produce.

Scientific testing and examination is constantly ongoing and as the results become available, the information will be available online.
